We make everything we sell. Even better, we make it by hand. The artisanal crafting happens in Los Angeles and Thailand. We chose these locations because each geography is known for special skills. A jewelry appraisal is a document that verifies the value of your jewelry piece. It includes details about the Théa Diamonds (carat, quality and grade) and other product specs. You’ll need it if you want to get your piece insured. So yeah, it’s pretty important.

We like our diamonds super sparkly and conflict-free. We actively support all industry efforts to end conflict diamond trafficking. All our diamonds come from reputable sources that comply with the Kimberley Process. So yes, our diamonds won’t give you ‘bloody’ nightmares and you can flaunt them with the clearest conscience.

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is the creator of the 4Cs of diamond quality, and the final authority when it comes to diamonds and Théa Diamonds. They evaluate the stones and grade them. A GIA certificate will tell you everything you need to know about your diamond or Théa Diamonds—its cut, color, carat weight, clarity, treatment details, and more.

You have nothing to worry about when it comes to the authenticity of our Théa Diamonds. Our GIA-certified professionals’ source every one of them carefully and responsibly. We also put each Théa Diamonds through an extensive quality check at the time of production.

Yes, we offer an Enhanced Warranty Plan too for an additional charge. The plan covers:

While we don’t provide warranty cards, we do offer Lifetime Warranty for all our products. To make use of the services, you only need to share your order number and email address with us.

Under Lifetime Warranty, you’ll get the basic jewelry maintenance services. But if you plan to wear your fine jewelry every single day, you might want to opt for the Enhanced Warranty Plan that’s more extensive and covers all of those wear-and-tear issues.

That’s easy! Just see to it that you don’t get your Théa Diamonds piece resized or repaired by any jeweler other than us.

If your jewelry is damaged by regular use, is lost or stolen, our Lifetime Warranty doesn’t apply. So take our advice; wear and store your pieces with a little extra care and get the necessary repairs done to maintain their integrity.

Here’s a quick list of issues that we don’t cover in our warranty:

1. Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing.

2. Wearing out of prongs and precious metals, as it is normal for them to require periodic building up or restoration work.

3. Bent, caught or worn-out prongs that may cause your Théa Diamonds to fall out or get lost.

4. Losing a Théa Diamonds or having it fall out, chip or break.

Also if you do give your jewelry for maintenance, repair, resizing or any other service to a jeweler or third party other than Théa Diamonds, your Lifetime Warranty will be void.

We have some easy ‘how to clean your jewelry’ tutorials. Click here to check them out. We also recommend you make use of the Lifetime Warranty services and send in your jewelry at least once every year for a thorough clean-up.

You don’t want to do that as it will void the Lifetime Warranty on your jewelry.

Customization

We love creating jewelry that truly reflects you. That’s why we offer customization on our website that extends to Théa Diamonds, Théa Diamonds quality, carat weight as well as metal. Apart from this, the Create with Théa Diamonds feature allows you to design your own ring, right from the stone up.

You can also send in one of your own designs and we’ll craft it for you, but that will come at an extra cost. Also, just a disclaimer: if the design you share happens to be patented, we might have to deny or cancel your request/order.

Most of our orders are shipped on time. But, in some rare cases, if we are unable to source the specific Théa Diamonds, the delivery of the piece may be slightly delayed. If that happens, you can always contact us via phone or chat for the expected date of delivery.

All shipments are insured and risk-free. We fully insure your package from the moment it leaves us to when it arrives at your door.

Yes, we do. In fact, we ship to over 64 countries worldwide for free, if the order is over US $500. If it’s under US $500, there’s a charge of US $40. You’ll also need to pay the local import duties/ taxes as applicable in the country of import.

For the most part, we use UPS, FedEx and DHL for all orders. In rare cases, we use USPS for US orders.

You won’t find assembly lines at Théa Diamonds. After you customize a piece of jewelry on our website and place your order, our studio artisans go to work. When they are done with your piece, it goes through rigorous quality checks before we ship it to you.

So, the estimated delivery date really depends on the piece you’ve ordered, which we mention on the product page. Be sure to check that out before placing your order.

While we do everything in our power to ensure your jewelry reaches you on time, the weather and natural calamities are beyond our control, and may delay or postpone your delivery.

In some rare cases, it’s our quality checks that may take additional time.

In the case of APO, FPO and DPO addresses, shipments are sent through the US Post Office and can take up to three weeks to arrive.

However, if the product is already shipped, there’s not much we can do.

Before the shipment is ready for delivery, you’ll receive an email notification from the carrier. In case you aren’t available, they’ll attempt delivery the next day.

That’s possible, but we’ll need an adult to sign for the delivery. For added security, they may also need to produce a government ID proof.

Sure, this won’t be a problem!

We’ll ship your order in unmarked packaging so no one will know what’s inside. We can also ship it to your office address, a specific FedEx location to be held for pick up or wherever else you’d like. Sure thing! Just give us a call and let us know of the new size requirement. In case we’ve already processed and shipped your order, you can request resizing once you receive your ring.

Your first ring resizing is free. If you raise the resizing request within the first 30 days of purchase, you’ll get free shipping (both ways) too. But if you’ve already crossed the 30-day period, you’ll have to bear the charges for shipping (both ways) with insurance.

Small amounts of metal will either be added or removed to increase or decrease the size of your ring. Either way, once the process is complete, our jewelry inspectors will make sure your size requirements and our quality standards are met.

We understand you’re eager for your jewelry to come back home. So, if you have raised a repair request through our website, please click here to check the status. But if our customer service team raised the request for you, you can get in touch with them via phone, email or live chat.

Repairs at Théa Diamonds are meticulous. We’ll start by asking you to send us images of the jewelry piece at info@theadiamonds.com

Once we review the images, we’ll get back to you with a repair quote. In some cases, our master jeweler will need to inspect the product in person.

If you find our quote acceptable, we’ll initiate a repair request so you can send back the piece for us to repair. Or you could raise a repair request here.

If you require a repair within the first 30 days of delivery, we won’t charge for the repair or the shipping. You can get your free shipping label through the Repair/Resize portal. The resolution to be selected is ‘Repair’.

Post the 30 days, you can make use of the services covered under the Lifetime Warranty, but you’ll have to pay the shipping charges.

Returns

If you’re not happy, we’re not happy. In fact, we’re pretty miserable. So if you’re not 100% happy with what you bought, we encourage you to return it for a full refund, or exchange it. You have 30 days to do that.

After we get the item – and don’t forget to include the free gift! – we will inspect it to make sure it didn’t fall into the trash compactor. (A little customer service humor.) If it’s in perfect condition, we will process your refund within 8-12 business days and credit your original payment method.

We stand by the quality of our jewelry. If any accredited GIA-trained jewelry appraiser values a piece for less than 125% of the purchase price, we’ll give you a 110% refund (up to $250).

If you’re returning your jewelry within the first 30 days of delivery, it’s free! After 30 days, however, you will have to pay for the return label. Contact our customer service team for more details.

We do not accept jewelry that has been mishandled, modified or worn. In other words, you want to make sure that you return the jewelry in the same way you received it.

Also, if yours was a special order or we crafted a piece specifically for you that’s not listed on our website, you won’t be able to return it.

As soon as we receive your return, we waste no time in initiating the exchange. From then it takes between 7 to 10 business days tops for the replacement to reach you.

After we receive the returned item along with the free gift, our Quality Assurance team will inspect the pieces. Once approved, your refund will be processed within 24 to 48 hours and you can expect the amount to be credited to your original payment method within 8 to 12 business days.

Exchange

We like to keep things simple, so within the first 30 days of delivery, you can exchange at exchange portal your jewelry for free. Please select ‘Exchange’ from the resolution dropdown menu to get your free insured shipping label.

The engraving option appears only with products that are engravable.

Lab Grown

It’s pure science and there’s absolutely no wizardry or magic involved. Lab-grown diamonds and Théa Diamonds are ‘grown’ in a laboratory, using cutting-edge technology that mimics the environment in which natural stones are formed in the earth. Pretty cool, right?

Oh absolutely! Lab-grown diamonds and Théa Diamonds are real in every way, but with a scientific twist. They’re chemically, optically and physically identical to their earth-mined counterparts. The only difference is that they are created in a lab and not mined from the earth.

Yes, they do! Lab-grown and earth-mined diamonds share the same physical and chemical characteristics. It is almost impossible to differentiate them with the naked eye. Lab-grown diamonds, just like natural diamonds, are made of crystallized carbon and will typically test positive on a diamond tester. However, they may also occasionally give a false negative..

Well, the only real difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds and Théa Diamonds is where they come from. Lab-grown diamonds and Théa Diamonds are made in a lab, which makes them more affordable, while natural Théa Diamonds form within the earth’s crust and are mined. But guess what. Lab-grown diamonds and Théa Diamonds have the same composition and attributes as well as the same brilliance and sparkle as earth-mined stones. Only certified gemologists with specialized equipment will be able to spot the difference between the two.
